What information do we collect?
When you make a booking through the website with us we need to know your name, email address and emergency phone number. This allows us to add you as a confirmed booking to the workshop and we can contact you if we need to in relation to the workshop. We also ask you for your telephone number(s) so that we can contact you easily if required.
If you make a booking directly to Sciencedipity by email or phone, thus avoiding the booking software, we will send you the T&Cs and highlight the important information and why we need to collect some details from you.
We will only send marketing and offers to you if you sign up to our mailing list, all your information is stored securely and in accordance with UK law.
How do we use your information?
We need your name & email address so we can send you a booking reminder, from this you can manage your booking directly. We need your contact number so we can contact you more easily before the workshop and we may need to contact you urgently during the workshop.
If you opt in to receiving emails about Sciencedipity’s news and events, we’ll send you these to keep you updated, this is about every 1-2 weeks.
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
